Protest over the shortage of female condoms

Western Cape Department of Health figures show a shortage of female condoms, and of the 90 million condoms distributed last year only 1.7 million were for women.
The situation has prompted health and women's rights NGOs to demand that the government change its strategy on condom distribution, blaming the shortage for increasing HIV/Aids infection rates.
